Marked Routes
You can plan your own route or use our pre-planned route options. On our marked routes, you’ll find a rest area managed by Apukka Resort about 2 km from the resort, where you can stop during your trip, make a fire, and enjoy a picnic.
Important Information
The age limit for renting a kayak is 15 years. Children under 15 years old can go kayaking with an adult. Children under 18 must report their guardian’s contact information when booking the kayak.
Swimming ability is required.
We recommend bringing appropriate outdoor clothing and sunscreen.

How to Arrive to Apukka Resort?
1. If you stay at Apukka Resort:
- The meeting point is at the Adventure House, situated in the main yard of Apukka Resort.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the activity.
- For winter tours: If you need winter gear from us, please pick it up before the tour begins.
2. If you need transportation:
- The price of the activity includes transfers to and from Apukka Resort with our shuttle bus by showing the reservation confirmation.
- The bus stops are located at Rovaniemi city center (Korkalonkatu 36, Rovaniemi) and Santa Claus Village’s bus stop, situated by the main road (Road E75). Check the location on Google Maps.
- Check the Apukka Shuttle Bus timetable here, choose the best time for you.
- Please be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the given departure time.
- The transfer won’t wait, so punctuality is essential!
- If you’re late for the transfer, the tour won’t be refunded.
3. If you arrive by car:
- You can park your car in Apukka’s parking lot (Tutkijantie 28, Rovaniemi).
- Arrive at least 20 min before the activity starts.
- For winter tours: Pick up your winter gear from the Adventure House, located in the main yard of the resort.
- Wait at the Adventure House until the tour begins.
