Marked Routes
There are several cycling routes available. The routes pass through diverse terrain, including boardwalks, trails, and forest roads. The longest route goes all the way to Lake Norvajärvi and is 39 km long. When renting, you will receive a map of the routes.
Important Information
Ensure you have suitable outdoor activity clothing.
The ability to ride a regular bicycle is required.
There is a height limit of 150-205 cm, and the weight limit is up to 110 kg on the bikes.
Upon handing over the bike, a €300 deposit will be held from your debit or credit card, which will be released when you return the bike intact and by the agreed time. Payment is per bike. Before handing over the bike, we always check the renter’s identity and credit details.

How to Arrive to Apukka Resort?
1. If you stay at Apukka Resort:
- The meeting point is at the Adventure House, situated in the main yard of Apukka Resort.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the activity.
- For winter tours: If you need winter gear from us, please pick it up before the tour begins.
2. If you need transportation:
- The price of the activity includes transfers to and from Apukka Resort with our shuttle bus by showing the reservation confirmation.
- The bus stops are located at Rovaniemi city center (Korkalonkatu 36, Rovaniemi) and Santa Claus Village’s bus stop, situated by the main road (Road E75). Check the location on Google Maps.
- Check the Apukka Shuttle Bus timetable here, choose the best time for you.
- Please be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the given departure time.
- The transfer won’t wait, so punctuality is essential!
- If you’re late for the transfer, the tour won’t be refunded.
3. If you arrive by car:
- You can park your car in Apukka’s parking lot (Tutkijantie 28, Rovaniemi).
- Arrive at least 20 min before the activity starts.
- For winter tours: Pick up your winter gear from the Adventure House, located in the main yard of the resort.
- Wait at the Adventure House until the tour begins.
