Day 1 – Arrival at Rovaniemi, Lapland
Our driver will welcome you at Rovaniemi Airport or Train Station, and after a 10–15 minute drive, you’ll arrive at Apukka Resort, nestled in the heart of authentic Lappish nature. After check-in, take some time to relax and settle into your accommodation.

Start your days with a buffet breakfast at our atmospheric Restaurant Aitta.
Time for adventures! Our cute huskies are waiting for you on the daytime tour! When night falls, it’s time to hop on a snowmobile and discover what wonders the Arctic night has to offer—velvety darkness, stars, and maybe even the Northern Lights!
On Christmastime, Apukka Resort is truly a winter wonderland where one never runs out of things to do. From dining in our beautiful restaurants to feeling the thrill of different adventures, we guarantee you won’t have a dull moment during your stay with us.
Frozen Lake Olkka, just next to the resort, invites you to take an afternoon walk across its thick ice cover. We have several campfires roaring merrily in the yard, offering a chance to warm up and relax in their glow. Build a snowman, go kick-sledding, or simply take a walk and capture the moment with photos—the Apukka Resort is here for you.

After a delicious breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Lapland. Our driver will take you to the airport or train station and wish you a lovely journey home. We hope to see you again at Apukka Resort!
