November marks the beginning of winter, so the amount of snow in Rovaniemi and Lapland is uncertain. Apukka Resort offers early winter experiences on stored and artificial snow if natural snow has not yet fallen.
By choosing our November holiday package for your pre-Christmas holiday, you’ll have an Arctic experience close to Lappish nature without crowds and hectic feelings. We have made this holiday easy for you; book flights from your nearest airport to Rovaniemi Airport, and we will take care of the rest.

Day 1 – Arrival at Rovaniemi, Lapland
Our driver will welcome you at Rovaniemi Airport or Train Station, and after a 10–15 minute drive, you’ll arrive at Apukka Resort, nestled in the heart of authentic Lappish nature. Check in and take some time to settle into your beautiful accommodation.
Days 2+ Active Days in Apukka Resort
Start your days with a buffet breakfast at our atmospheric Lappish Restaurant Aitta.

In November, winter is arriving at Apukka Resort, and this cozy Christmassy time always has things to do. From dining in our beautiful Restaurant Aitta, to feeling the thrill of different adventures, we guarantee you won’t have a dull moment during your stay with us.
We got a big bonfire in the yard that we light up every night for you to relax. Also, as soon as there’s enough snow, our big tube slide will be opened for guests. Time flies even while wandering around in the Resort. When the night falls, remember to watch the sky. As soon as you can see the stars, there’s always a chance to see the magical Aurora Borealis.
Bye, bye Lapland!
After a delicious breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Lapland. Our driver will take you to the airport or train station and wish you a pleasant journey home. We hope to see you again at Apukka Resort!

Our longest early winter husky tour covers 3 km (1.8 miles) and takes you across the fields and forests of Arctic nature. What an excellent opportunity to see these lovable dogs in action!
