Three iconic animals are close to every Laplander’s heart: huskies, reindeer, and Finnhorses. During your stay, you’ll dash through snowy trails behind a team of huskies, glide under the Arctic night sky with reindeer leading the way, and traverse the wintry landscapes on a horse-drawn sleigh. Are you ready to meet them all?
Please note that this holiday package is not recommended for infants, as the reindeer tour is not suitable for them.

Day 1 – Arrival at Rovaniemi, Lapland
Our driver will welcome you at Rovaniemi Airport or Train Station, and after a 10–15 minute drive, you’ll arrive at Apukka Resort, nestled in the heart of authentic Lappish nature. Check in and take some time to settle into your beautiful accommodation.
Days 2+ Active Days in Apukka Resort
Start your day with a buffet breakfast in the cozy, rustic charm of Restaurant Aitta.
Then, it’s time to head out and explore Lapland! We’ve arranged sleigh rides with all your animal favorites—from huskies to reindeer and Finnhorses.
Keep your eyes peeled for the Northern Lights, which might make an appearance if you’re in luck!
During winter (December-April), Apukka Resort transforms into a winter wonderland, offering activities to keep you entertained throughout your stay. Whether you’re enjoying the great outdoors or relaxing with a hot drink in Lobby Bar Riihi, there’s always something to do.
There’s even a giant tube slide on the premises for guests to enjoy at no extra cost.
A frozen lake beside the resort offers the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll on its thick ice cover, and every evening, we light bonfires in the yard for you to gather around. From building snowmen and kick sledding on the ice to capturing stunning photos of the surrounding beauty, Apukka Resort is brimming with winter magic!

After a delicious breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Lapland. Our driver will take you to the airport or train station and wish you a lovely journey home. We hope to see you again at Apukka Resort!
