Day 1 – Arrival at Rovaniemi, Lapland

Our driver will welcome you at Rovaniemi Airport or Train Station, and after a 10–15 minute drive, you’ll arrive at Apukka Resort, nestled in the heart of authentic Lappish nature. Check in and take some time to settle into your beautiful accommodation.

Days 2+ Active Days in Apukka Resort

Start your days with a buffet breakfast at our atmospheric Restaurant Aitta.

Explore Lapland and all its unique activities. Meet huskies, enjoy a traditional Finnish sauna at your doorstep, dash through the snow in a horse sleigh, and hunt for Aurora Borealis every night. You can catch the Northern lights straight from your bed in your Aurora accommodation or book another Northern Lights tour in our reception.

During the winter (December – April), Apukka Resort is a wonderland where one never runs out of things to do. From dining in our beautiful restaurant Aitta to feeling the thrill of different adventures, we guarantee you won’t have a dull moment during your stay with us.

We have a giant tube slide on the premises (free of charge) and a frozen lake just next to the Resort, inviting you to an afternoon walk on its thick ice cover. We have a big bonfire in the yard that we light up every night for you to relax. Building a snowman, kick sledding on the ice, or just walking around the beautiful Resort and taking photos – the list of things to do in Apukka Resort is endless.

After a delicious breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Lapland. Our driver will take you to the airport or train station and wish you a lovely journey home. We hope to see you again at Apukka Resort!
