Whether you’re staying at Rovaniemi city center, Santa’s Village, or Apukka Resort, our shuttle bus can take you there. The return transfer from the Arctic Circle Hiking Area departs at 14:15, stopping at the same bus stops as on the way to the hiking area. With three well-marked walking routes, visitors can immerse themselves in the wilderness and discover local nature and culture. Along the routes, several inviting rest spots and campfire sites await weary hikers.

This tour makes it possible for people visiting Rovaniemi to enjoy the Arctic Circle Hiking Area.
The walking routes offered include:
- Könkäänsaari Demanding Accessible Trail (1,6 km)
- Mire Trail (5,5 km)
- Kivalonaapa Meadow Culture Trail (1,1 km)
The buses depart from Rovaniemi city center at 9:25, and from Apukka Resort at 9:45. You’ll have about 4-4,5 hours to enjoy the trails.
After returning from the hiking area, you have the option to enjoy the services offered at Apukka Resort and catch a later bus back to the city. For example, you can rent an e-fatbike or have lunch at our restaurants.
Please be aware that outdoor clothing is not provided by Apukka Resort.

How To Arrive On This Tour?

- The bus stops are located at Rovaniemi city center (Korkalonkatu 23), Santa Claus Village (by the main road E75), and at Apukka Resort.
