We Celebrate Our Second Tripadvisor Recognition in a Row

For the second year in a row, Apukka Resort has been recognized in Tripadvisor’s prestigious awards. We proudly rank No. 19 in their Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards 2026, in the category “One of a Kind – World.” This recognition places us among the top 1% of all listings on Tripadvisor worldwide—a remarkable achievement that we are truly honored to receive once again.

What are the Travelers’ Choice awards?

Each year, Tripadvisor celebrates travelers’ favorite destinations, hotels, restaurants, and more, based on reviews and ratings collected over a 12-month period. The awards are presented in two tiers: Travelers’ Choice and Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best, with the latter being Tripadvisor’s highest recognition.

Being ranked among the world’s most unique travel experiences two years in a row is a great achievement. Out of more than 8 million listings worldwide, fewer than 1% receive this prestigious recognition. Wow!

Reindeer walk was a wonderful journey. You may find the reindeers which were better treated than somewhere else. Staff were so heartfully served. This is not the result from the training. Don’t miss to walk around the surrounding area e.g. sauna area. Anyone may enjoy overthere.

The staff at Apukka, particularly the four legged ones (reindeer & huskies), were incredible! We enjoyed every activity we did with the resort and thought the restaurant was delicious.

Apukka is one of the best Lapland resorts we have ever stayed in. So many winter activities offered, good food with plenty of choice, natures touch, every staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying in Apukka 🙂

Our entire trip was seamless. Airport transfer was on time, check in was fast and activities were perfectly timed. Perfect for our family of five with kids 11, 13, & 17 and the lake view suite was plenty big with stunning views!

Best view from our Cabin to see the Northern Lights and have a traditional dinner at the Kota restaurant. Best service and food – you get a high quality and can enjoy the time at Apukka Resort. We already miss this place!
